“「Shiho-shiri」”
「Disease does not occur in four
directions and four
miles」 Do you
know the word and what it means?

4miles is approximately 16 kilometres in numerical terms.
In this case, it means as far as your own feet can reach and indicates the four neighbouring municipalities.
Eating locally grown, seasonal food within one’s own reach is the best way to stay healthy, an idea that is linked to the Buddhist concept of shin-do-funi(That the human body and the land are inseparably linked. The idea that eating food from the land in its season is good for one’s health.) The roots of the brand SOIL are connected to the mother earth, water and sun (earth) of Shimanto. There are many wonderful rustic materials, like gemstones of innocence, The SOIL brand makes wonderful raw material cultivation and processed products.
We deliver safe and secure processed products by combining modern technology with traditional and basic methods such as locking in the season (drying, freezing, salting, sugaring, pickling, fermenting). The people who eat them want SOIL vegetables and processed products to make them feel better! And we, too, get rewarded and energised by making and delivering them!
We create a synergistic effect of vitality!
“SHIMANTO YONRI” is based on the basic concept of energetic synergy and we want to connect with as many people around the world as possible, just as we connect with the earth (soil).

SOIL cordials are the product of Shimanto organic ginger, sunshine and fertile soil. We want to deliver body-, mind- and environment-friendly syrups from Shimanto. ・・・・ The organic ginger is carefully grown in the soil and environment, and Honey from a hundred flowers of the Shimanto is natural honey collected by bees from seasonal flowers.
”Shimanto Cordial” is made from carefully selected, pure ingredients, such as natural syrup made from rare sugar cane (boca) from a producer in a neighbouring town who grows it without relying on pesticides or chemical fertilisers through recycling-oriented agriculture.
It is an innocent product with unlimited possibilities, combining seasonal citrus fruits such as Yuzu, Amanatsu and Busyukan, which grow wild in the region, with Japanese and Western herbs.
